Stayed here July 26 thru August 2 for a dive trip. Such a great location, Sea of Cortez on my door step with beautiful sunrise views! Chava, Christina and their family treated us like family and made our vacation a great time. Had great dives, swam with the Whale Sharks everyday; caught fish and kicked back on the beach. Already planning next year's trip.

Salvador and his family made me feel like I was part of their family. As a woman solo motorcycling through Baja, they made me feel safe, kept my bike safe, and even let me borrow a car to go eat in town. Just awesome service and attention, great private location, they have access to 24 hour power so there's plenty of a/c, no restaurant yet, but they're working on it. I'll be back!

Very nice people with great beach location. When we were there there was no restaurant as they are rebuilding after hurricane but restaurant is within walking distance on beach. Wifi is available

The reviews of people saying the rooms are old and shabby are hilarious. Bahia De Los Angeles is real baja, not cabo, not the Ritz in Orange County or whatever the incredibly first world problem having lily whitest of white Karens who put this place down think a hotel should be. Villa Bahia is my go to in BOLA. It's right on the sand, the people who own and run it are family who live right there and treat you like family, and the rooms are better than 99% of the others in town. You can tell it's good, because it's almost impossible to get a room as a place is booked out nearly a year in advance all the time.

Great service and a wonderful spot to unwind and rough it a bit. Not a whole lot of amenities, but all the essentials are here: Rooms with beds, full kitchens, bathroom, shower, running water, lounging areas, WiFi, rooms get cleaned every morning and AC at night for comfortable sleeping. We’ve been coming here for years in the summer and it’s one of my favorite places on Earth.

My wife 4 young kids and I rolled into town to see whale sharks not knowing much about the place. Lucky for us every hotel in the main town was booked due to coming in July. Someone told us about this place in the " outskirts of town" that may have a room available. As we drove down the dirt road to the Villa Bahia hoping they would have a room not knowing what to expect we came to the hotel right on a private beautiful beach much cleaner and prettier then the ones in town! Salvador, his wife and daughter were great! He had a ponga come take us to see all the sights including over 30 whale sharks! Not knowing how our adventure in the bay of Los Angeles was going to be on arrival, we couldn't have had a better time and it wouldn't have been the same if we'd stayed anywhere else!
